Logging Process

Before any cutting starts, the logger will mark trees according to how the landowner wants the timber cut.

After marking trees the logger will begin cutting the timber and hauling it to an open spot near the road.

When the logger is ready to sell logs he will generally have a log buyer from a saw mill come out and buy the logs on the property. From there, the log sale checks will be divided to the split the land owner and logger agreed on.
